Oxygen Covergirl Winner 2014
In May 2014 I set myself 2 Big, Hairy, Audacious goals (BHAG's):
Firstly, to enter a Figure Competition by the end of the year (see pics).
And then secondly to finally have the courage to submit an entry into the Oxygen Magazine annual Covergirl competition.
In order to achieve those goals I knew that I had to get myself in the best shape I had ever been in. With the goal in mind I enlisted the help of a Coach for the first time ever and set about the task.
Fast forward 4 months, I was 2 weeks out from my figure competition when the Oxygen entries were due. I had photos taken by a photographer friend (Greg Smith at iKapture) the day before the competition closed and emailed them off that afternoon.
You cannot begin to imagine how suprised/excited/astonished I was when contacted by Oxygen Magazine the following week asking me to be available for a photo shoot with the 9 other finalists.
This was the result - I still can't believe it happened! And to top it off I also achieved a Top 10 call out in the INBA Qld State Championships for the Masters 40+ Figure Division.

Oxygen Magazine Australia Ambassador 2016
At the start of 2016 I was struggling to dream up my next BHAG and decide what I would do to challenge myself.
Flipping through my favourite magazine a few months later I saw the ad for the Cover girl competition and once again the fire was ignited within.
But this year, my goal was not to grace the cover again but instead to have a more active role with the magazine and its family by winning the amazing Ambassador role.
So once again I trained, stayed focused on what I wanted, poured my heart out into the entry and I set my sights on my biggest BHAG yet!
Take a look at the result!
If you want it enough you MAKE it happen.
